Preparing for a wedding is never an easy task. I knew how much work Lauren and Anthony had poured into their wedding to make it one of the most memorable events of their lives. Yet I was still mesmerised by it all when I arrived to start photographing. All those little details that make everything perfect – from the headpiece she wore, the beautiful embellishments on her dress, the garden ceremony and floral arrangements, oh, and the car! The whole ambience was a fine balance between classic and modern.

Enjoy the highlights of their wonderful wedding xx

Erin & Brian | Q Station, Manly | 1st October 2016

By Delvene

I documented a beautiful, rustic-themed wedding last weekend at the picturesque Q Station in Manly. The last time I was at Q Station was when I experienced a ghost tour and since it was night, never realised how beautiful the surrounds were! It was a blissful ceremony and reception (how could it not be at a location like Q Station), with a super relaxed crowd of attendees, and an absolutely perfect Spring day to top it off. Hope you enjoy the highlights from their special day xx

Engagement Session | Fagan Park, Galston

By Delvene

I spent a glorious Spring afternoon on the weekend with a gorgeous couple who are ready to tie the knot in a matter of weeks. You all know how much I adore photographing weddings, and engagement sessions are right up there as there is no hasty time pressures and everyone can just be at ease and relax! Engagement sessions present a wonderful opportunity for the couple to get comfortable with being in front of the lens and to foster a trusting relationship between themselves and myself as the photographer. It’s the perfect trial run to their special day in a few weeks. Here are some highlights from the afternoon, and stay in touch for the wedding sneak peeks in October!

Save the Date Session | Rouse Hill

By Delvene

This weekend I had the absolute pleasure of capturing some photos for this special couple’s Save the Date cards. What makes them so special? They are former students from where I teach, and as high school sweet hearts they are now engaged to be married next year!

I still remember the day when it was my first year teaching and I accompanied this group of vivacious Modern History students to an overnight Canberra excursion. What an eye opener that was for me! Fast forward 9 years later and Kylene has actually returned to our school as a teacher herself and is passionately passing on her wisdom to the next generation of students we teach. Oh, and of course getting busy with wedding plans!

Congratulations on the recent engagement Kylene and Corey. I hope you enjoy these photos for years to come.
